We will continue our study of the plasma tubes with the GREEN TOP TUBE. The green top tube is used to test ammonia levels (indicator of liver function) in the blood. All of the green tubes contain a type of heparin. The "NAtural" green color top tube contains NaHep (sodium heparin).
